You asked for feedback.

A previous player had commented that "he wanted to have imput into the new map seed". I think this is a good idea, in so much that it allows players to suggest map seeds that would be predisposed to making a memorable Spawntown 3.0 (if and when there is a map reset, perhaps when 1.2 comes out). Having a competition like "The War" for the best map seed suggested by players would be a good way to restart the server, perhaps with a huge underground cavern right under the starting area or "ravene" that comes all the way to the surface. A spawntown that was vertically intrigated into the start zone would be a memorable enterance, surrounded by a relatively flat area might make the founding of a new spawntown that much painless. Its worth considering.

If and when that happens, perhaps the spawn should be placed above the HTA and MTA transit hub. What I'm essentially suggesting, is a "prefabracated" Spawn building that is built on the current map (by that I mean the map were currently on), which would either be moved lock stock and barrel onto the new, or be used as the centerpiece of the new maps spawnpoint. It need not be more then a 20x20 area on the surface, with a ground floor for the spawn, effectively acting as the city center. An open pavalion, with doors opening to the east, west, north, and south would lead to roadways pointing in those directions. A central spiral staircase would lead up to the HTA teleportals on the 2nd story, which could easily be hidden into the decorative floor. The MTA (railway) system would be down the stairs, and as invisioned would be compact enough to fit in the area defined (20x20), with a subbasement of the eletronics taking up another 20x20x10 area in a sub basement. The railway would be built with 16 possible lines, four in each direction, and would include such things as automatic railcar return, and pressure plates to activate the start of any rail movement. Asthetically, I think you would find what I have invisioned delicious. It wouldn't be the dual rail system in place now, with parallel outgoing and incoming lines, but rather with single lines that both "come" and "go". The rail tracks would all be underground for the first 200 or so squares, but then then come above ground.

I could build something ingame to show you, perhaps at the southern hub that is already in place. Tell me if you would be interested in something like that.
